This school year, we will offer self-paced PD. All MaST staff are responsible for completing the Act 55: School Employee Safety and Security Training. Additionally, a large portion of staff will need to complete PSTAT training when that becomes avalaible.
Additional PD may be added throughout the school year.
Act 48 of 1999 requires all persons holding Pennsylvania professional educator certification to complete continuing education requirements every five years in order to maintain their certificates in active status. It is your professional responsibility to continuely check your Act 48 credit hours to make sure you are on track. To check your time, visit the PERMS website and fill in your PPID #.
